God Inhabits The Praises Of His People????

I'm sure many of you have heard the saying God inhabits the praises of his people and that got me to thinking the other is it really in the Bible and if so where.  So I went on a quest and here is what I found:

But thou art holy, thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel (Psalm23:3 KJV),
Yet you are enthroned as the Holy One; you are the praise of Israel. (Psalm 23:3 NIV),
Yet you are holy, enthroned on the praises of Israel.  (Psalm 23:3 ESV)

Each translation seems not only to support the idea but to intensify it.  I have spent some time thinking about this idea, running it around in my head, this idea that God inhabits the praises of His people.  I was thinking about the evidence, that it was not an actually scripture, but that it seemed to be supported by the whole thought or idea seems to be supported in scripture, by experience, and even by reason.  Yet, that didn't seem to be quite enough for me.  Then, out of the blue, Jesus spoke, clear as if He was sitting right next to me, and not from the thoughts running through my head, He said, "Praise me and see if I show up."  I couldn't help but chuckle, for two very clear reasons.  The first that absolute craziness of making something as personal as God's presence in response to the praise of His people a theoretical exercise that I needed to study more and second, the warmth and immediate presence of God when I stopped right there and just began to praise Him.

"Praise me and see if I show up." Great line, Jesus!  Thank you for being there to always help me to see you more clearly to see that you are there personal and up close for me.  You are beautiful, amazing beyond words or description, absolutely matchless, and supreme over ALL the universe.  I love you!
